Getting power to your pixels can get a little tricky once the string gets longer than a controller can handle natively. Power injection is a trick to get past that problem.

In many of my demos, it's easier to just go straight from the power supply since I already have a pigtail wired up. I have a fuse block now and use fuse blocks in my display. I also use a mixture of coming off the controller and going direct depending on the anticipated power requirements of the string.

So you dont connect pos and neg from light strings to the board ? you go direct to the power supply?

noticed you have 3 positives and yet only one negative. All that current will be limited by the resistance of that one negative wire. Triple them up as well.
