In this video I demonstrate how you can power inject a condensed RGB pixel prop without bringing in a power injection line. The wire used to the prop is 18 awg wire and about 15 feet long. Although this method works as I demonstrate your variables will affect the outcome so always test prior to putting your prop up. Also, 18 awg wire is only rated for 10 amps for 12v which this is so keep that in mind.
