Has the Layers publication become available?
Excellent video. Very well done and well spoken. You have a clear easy-listening voice. One correction though, at 51:30 Max and Min are NOT Additive and Subtractive. Max renders the larger of the two values, not the sum. Min renders the lower of the two values, not the difference. Two equal values will render that same value.
Excellent explanations. Do you publish the effects file with the examples so we can load them up and learn from them?
