Kind of hard to say with so little information. Likely your model is much lower resolution than mine. Best places to ask these sort of support questions is on the nutcracker forum or the xlights facebook pages and include either screen image or your sequence files so we can see what you are doing.
My model preview doesn't look anything like yours, I can't get it to blend colors, each pixel is a square, i see no emitter looking locations. What have I got wrong?
