Great video, except I think you missed, or didn't emphasize enough, that for someone attempting to get a synchronized pixel light show up and running in a short time frame that perhaps they could look at purchasing a pre-assembled controller.
As you said, this is a dearer option, but can be a quicker and easier first time option.
There's a few threads on the ACL forum that cover "plug and play" or "ready to run" controllers.
