Hello, I am completely new at this and am wondering what is the best way to get started with X-lights? I am looking to use RGB tape light or other addressable lights to layout to a photograph blown up and program a back light pattern behind it. It seems MS Excel makes it easy to layout the lights but How do I begin programming the pixels to do a custom lighted pattern?
    Thank you
    Ken

@Michael K ... because the chained model is 1 channel after the end of the previous model in the chain.

I watched this again, and I don't understand why you said to always change the channel to one, when you're chaining. ( 8:36 )

Question: When you said that going to the new style of addressing, it allows you to add things in later. In your example, you had a row that was something akin to Univ 4 with 300 channels. When you changed it to 510 channels, everything below was adjusted. But I didn't see in your models, if they adjusted too.
